About Electrical Engineer

  A Snapshot of Your Day

  You will engage with a multidisciplinary team to deliver on the engineering requirements of a rotating equipment project.

  How You’ll Make an Impact

  Manage the electrical technical scope for supply of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore projects including electric motor-driven compressor trains, gas turbine-generators, gas turbine-compressors, and extended plant scope (coolers, scrubbers, anti-surge valves, etc.)

  Support Project Engineer to address technical concerns with internal and external clients.

  Ensure that the highest engineering standards are maintained within the electrical engineering department during the design and manufacture of these products.

  Troubleshoot and understand gas turbine, compressor, and process system designs from an electrical engineering standpoint.

  Direct and review the drafting/design team on the creation of contract documents, bills of materials, and part assemblies.

  Support production in the assembly of equipment through work instructions and redlining drawings.

  Provide technical/field service support through the end of warranty and handover to service.

  Manage electrical engineering schedule, including on time release of equipment specifications, bills of material, and customer documentation.

  Manage and monitor Electrical Engineering budget.

  What You Bring

  You will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronic systems engineering technology, or related field.

  Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Current Siemens Energy employees may be eligible for internal transfers.
