Summary The role of theEHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Coordinator is responsible foridentifying applicable EHS regulations and risks while interacting withOperations, HR, Accounting, Sales, and Corporate Health & Safety toimplement acceptable systems to ensure compliance and conformance to EHSPolicies and Management Systems and programs. Principal Duties andResponsibilities (but not limited to...) Formulates and trainsemployees in general EHS policies and procedures to be followed incompliance with local, state, and federal Environmental ProtectionAgency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)rules and regulations. Communicate, and document regulatory requirementsand compliance to various levels of the organization from shop floorassociates to top level leadership. Collaborates with internal andexternal groups regarding process changes impacting EHS. Maintainfacility EHS performance records and reports performance to sitemanagement. Provide coaching and technical support to facilitymanagement teams. Participates in the investigation of accidents andinjuries. Conduct EHS inspections, document findings, and implementcorrective actions. Facilitate EHS committee meetings. Work with otherdepartments to identify and correct EHS findings. Perform any otherrelated duties as required or assigned. Please note that the duties andrequirements described herein are intended to represent general contentsof this job. Qualifications 4-year college degree, plus2 years related experience and/or training, and 12 to 18 months relatedmanagement experience, or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
