The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn community school district is looking for qualified applicants to fill a1.0 FTE Family Consumer Science (FCS)position for the 2024-2025 school year. Specific duties will be discussed after learning about the candidate's qualifications.

　　The HMS High School serves 210 students in grades 9-12 and is located in Hartley IA. HMS is a progressive district and is currently engaged in the PLC model for professional development. Due to having a very supportive community, our district is utilizing a new Middle School and Elementary buildings that were completed in 2021. We are located in beautiful Northwest Iowa, just 30 minutes south of the Minnesota border and are 30 minutes away from the Iowa Great Lakes/Okoboji area, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Sioux City, and 1 hour and 40 minutes from Sioux Falls SD.
