Analyze and evaluate educational needs of all levels of respiratory care staff to design priority organizational programming to develop and maintain competencies.2. Maintains a high level of clinical expertise in the area of Respiratory Care and Acts as a clinical consultant to nursing, and medical staff3. Integrates current national practice, research and evidence, regulatory and education standards into all programs to assure adherence to quality measures.4. Designs, consults and implements curriculum and instructional systems at the organizational level which develop competent, age-appropriate, patient/family centered care for all levels of Respiratory Care and Pulmonary Lab staff including central orientation, in-services and continuing education programs.5. Acts as a role model when facilitating, leading and teaching educational programs, both formal and informal, using a variety of educational methods.6. Develop and implement evaluation systems to measure the effectiveness/outcomes of educational activities. Analyze data for use in decision making.7. Mentors/consults with Patient Care Services and Ambulatory leadership and staff regarding the development of organizational, department or unit based educational processes and continuing education programming which contribute to quality patient outcomes.8. Acts as a change agent to promote the enculturation of evidence based initiatives and clinical practices at an organizational level. Supports research activities and scholarship.9.
