Description
This position reports to and is support staff to the Education Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting and implementing the vision of the Education Director to ensure the smooth flow of the Education Department.
Specific Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to the Education Department.
Position handles all night classes
Position does not have a set time schedule for everyday work
Position is a back-up for the other two positions
Assist the other positions with class material, handouts, coffee, set-up, instructor needs, sign-in sheets, evaluations and copies.
Helps out the other positions with the duties in handling all classes held by the Education Department
Acts as a back-up to the designation classes, to help out with lunch, sign in, set-up, and grading tests.
Reviews all evaluations that are completed by students for all CE class, Post classes and Designation classes.
Handles all Post-Licensing classes
Prepares sign-in sheets, evaluations, course material and badges
Prepares set-up and tear down of all Post-Licensing classes including but not limited too, coffee, water, instructor, computer and classroom.
Keeps current and updated reports on all evaluations filled out by students.
Handles all the evaluations forms, copies, recording, and submitting evaluations to the evaluation company and to the Real Estate Division.
Keeps the Courses files up to date with the Real Estate Division.
Assist other Education staff to prepare education and training materials and audio-visual material for instructors and attendees for sponsored education classes.
Maintains all Orientation files
Works closely with the Membership department on all Orientation aspects.
Registers members and the public for sponsored education classes. Collects and processes fees for courses.
Maintains records of participation in the continuing education program.
Assist members with course availability and advises members of license continuing education requirements and Post Licensing credits.
Responds to members’ questions and requests regarding education.
Disseminate advertising and marketing plan as directed by the Education Director.
Test proctor as requested by other Associations, Institutes, Councils and Societies.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Must be customer service oriented. Must be able to take minutes and transcribe same. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping helpful. Must be well organized and able to multi-task.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule when needed for evening and weekend classes.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Must maintain professional demeanor and respect when dealing with members and/or the public.
Excellent organizational, coordination, and time management skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Member Management Data Base.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/Equivalent or higher.
Prefer a minimum of three (3) years office or clerical experience. Must have Education experience, including but not limited to, Continuing Education, Designations, dealing with instructors, scheduling of classes, and updating and making material.
