Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Contributes to the activities of the teams across rotational assignments paired with formal classroom studies.

Partnerns with teams from within the business unit to specify needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes.

Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Contributes to a wide variety of projects and assignments to grow leadership skills, business acumen, and technical skills.

Works within a team setting and / or under guidance from Assingment Manager.

A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

. Master’s Degree in any of the following technical fields: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Signal and Information Processing, Information Technology, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Control, Automation, Nuclear Physics, Mechanical Engineering, User Experience Design, Industrial Design, or related majors.

· Demonstrated academic excellence

· Passion for engineering with strong technical attitude, innovation spirit, and an analytical approach to problem solving

· Strong commitment to a career in technology and product development

· Self-motivated, self-confident team play with mature positive attitude and fast learning ability

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English.

Desired Characteristics

Prior intern, co-op, or research experiences in the related fields such as diagnostic imaging equipment, patient monitoring devices, or life support systems; software or firmware design/applications in clinical areas, AI/machine learning/data science research in healthcare related projects.Inclusion and Diversity
