The Cybersecurity Practice is seeking a Financial Services Managing Director to join our growing team.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?

Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical people to executive level technical decision-makers

Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple engagements and work streams with various clients

Ability to build and manage a diverse portfolio of clients across the indust ry

Supervisory experience of teams including consultants, senior consultants, managers, senior managers and associate Managing Director s

Experience with security-related regulatory obligations faced within the financial sector today, including but not limited to FFIEC, NYDFS, GLBA, GDPR, CCPA, etc.  

Experience with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53 and FSP standards

Deep experience in how cyber security risks are managed within one or more of the following financial functions: Commercial Banking, Capital markets, Bank Cards/Payments, Insurance, Asset Management or Broker-Dealer   

W orking with senior leadership of large financial institutions to c ommunicate cyber security risks and proper mitigation strategies

Experience with assessing, designing, implementing, and enhancing first and second line security controls, processes and teams within a financial services organization  

Advanced project management and status reporting capabilities

Ability to network and build relationships

Identify opportunities and establish a sales pipeline

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

15 + years working in technology , consulting, or related field, either in professional services or industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

It is expected that you will reside within a reasonable daily commute of your assigned Protiviti home office by your start date. Protiviti employees work in a hybrid environment which means you will be required to work from a variety of locations including your Protiviti home office, an in-town and/or out-of-town client site, and/or from a remote location such as your residence. It is expected that you will be available to be physically present at the required work location and that you will have access to reliable transportation .

A new hire receives up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. For every 3 years of service, our people receive an additional 3 days of CTO, up to a maximum of 30 days per year. Our people also receive up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year. We offer the opportunity to contribute to our company 401(k) savings and investment plan, with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions for eligible employees.
