DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Early Learning Program Certification Representative, you will conduct inspections of child care facilities and assess compliance with regulations that are in place to ensure the health and safety of children in regulated childcare settings. You will be responsible to conduct complaint investigations when allegations of regulatory noncompliance are alleged. In addition, you will also investigate allegations of illegally operating facilities. This position requires extensive travel to facilities located in urban, suburban, and rural areas of the Commonwealth. You will need to be on the leading edge of regulatory and policy changes that impact children and families throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment.You will have the ability to be home headquartered after six (6) months on the job.Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Must be willing to travel frequently. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience providing direct services to children and youth and a bachelor's degree that includes 24 semester hours of college level courses in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, psychology, or human development; orAn equivalent combination of professional experience and training, which includes one year of professional experience providing direct services to children and youth and 24 semester hours of college level courses in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, psychology, or human development.
