About Dy. Manager SIOP leader

  What you’ll do:

  This position is responsible for the scheduling, pull, flow, expediting of material and identification and resolution of materials issues and shortages within the plant consistent with operating objectives. Works with buyers, coordinators, supply chain team, production, and suppliers to assure the effective operation of the materials process and system..

  a. Follow SIOP & Inventory Processes, tools in co-ordination with cross functional teams that directly impacts on key High-Five metrics of the organization including OTD, Past dues, DOH, flexible productivity & CONC.

  b. Manage the planning & controlling operations effectively and efficiently. Responsibility includes monthly production plan, tentative production plan, monthly raw material requirement and allocation to meet production plan.

  c. An individual has to own and initiate Inventory management initiatives including Segmentation, Inventory optimization, cost out and tight inventory control.

  d. Periodical verification of WIP on shop floor.

  e. Maintaining the planning related record like work order details, daily production report, route cards details,

  f. Updating the plant information & plant performance indices

  g. Leadership role in material transaction related problem-solving initiatives on shop floor with production supervisors.

  h. Implementation and adherence to the Eaton Business System.

  i. Drive compliances align to Eaton Code of Ethics and hold others accountable for ethical conduct.

  j. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and governance.

  k. Develop and maintain a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and change.

  l. Proactively manage potential material shortages via Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) (PO past dues, PO critical overdues, PO no promise dates, PO review).

  m. You will work with the team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost out opportunities and drive assigned projects to completion.

  n. Promote good working relationships with internal suppliers and within the plant between the SCM Organization, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality, and Engineering.

  o. Actively participation in preparing annual profit planning.

  Qualifications:

  Degree in Mechanical engineering, 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, PPC and logistics dept. roles with prior shop floor management experience

  Skills:

  Should have good knowledge of Ford system.

  CPIM certified candidate will be preferable.

  Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
