About Driver Operations Associate Principal

  As a Driver Operations Associate Principal, you will lead strategic projects that deliver a best-in-class experience for Via’s Driver Partners around the world. You will be responsible for enabling operational success across Via’s business lines (Paratransit, Transportation-as-a-Service, Schools) by ensuring a sufficient, highly-engaged driver base in every market. Specifically, you will own KPIs and initiatives related to the performance and efficacy of our Field Operations team, including building staffing models, designing process improvements, and evaluating quality. The Field Operations team provides high-touch support to our driver partners, assisting them with onboarding, compliance, and works to build a strong community in each of our deployments.

  What You’ll Do:

  Own projects end-to-end (from planning and launch to ongoing operations), with a particular focus on our Field Operations team  Work cross-functionally across teams - Expansion, Marketplace, Operations - to ensure critical service level and revenue targets are consistently achieved Develop and maintain an analytical framework for evaluating workforce output and efficiency, connecting team efforts to tangible operational outcomes Continuously identify and drive operational improvements across business lines, building systems that support ongoing scale and rapid growth  Develop budgets and cost targets for the Field Operations team, monitor performance against goals and collaborate with the the Field Operations Manager to adjust as necessary Collaborate on other Driver Operations functions (Acquisition, Engagement) as opportunities arise Who You Are:

You bring organization and structure to highly-dynamic, multi-faceted projects with many contributors Highly analytical and comfortable with making data-driven decisions at speed and scale - you can balance speed of execution with the necessity of using data to inform decision-making Minimum of 3+ years of work experience, likely at a high-growth startup, established tech company, consulting, or financial firm Hold a Bachelor’s Degree Past experience directly managing or supporting a team of front line hourly employees is a plus Compensation and Benefits:

  Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable.
