We have operated in Colorado for more than 100years and today have mining and milling operations near Leadville, Kremmlingand Empire. Our Climax mine is located between Frisco and Leadville. OurHenderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by theContinental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles isunderground). The Henderson mine is about 50 miles west of Denver and 10miles west of Empire, and the mill is located between Dillon and Kremmling.

　　DescriptionPerforms duties related to the operation of diesel and electric drills at askilled level.

　　Responsible for drilling quality primary blast holes, drilling to properdepth and proper collaring of drill holesOperates manual drills requiring monitoring manual gauges and manualoperation and/or automated drill requiring use on online GPS system andmonitoring of computer screensManually measures drill holes after drilling, drills secondary blastholes as needed, moves and positions power cables when operating drillaround shovelsIdentify and report any mechanical issues on drill steels, change bitsand stabilizers and assist mechanics with pipe changes.Communicates and interacts with blasting crew to properly clear drill forblastingMay be required to operate other pieces of mobile equipment as necessaryfor business needsPerform other duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications:
