The Donor Relations Specialist is responsible for providing high-level customer service and stewardship to donors. The position will support RHD's fundraising efforts through management of grant tracking, reporting and reconciliation processes, corporate donor prospecting, maintaining donor information, and all donor-related outreach and communications. Responsibilities/Duties
Provides responsive and comprehensive customer service to donors with professionalism and timely attention to detail.Makes direct solicitation visits and calls to potential donors, respond to donor inquiries in writing and compose follow-up call reports.Provides operational support of the department, including project management of funding organizations, corporate events, donor stewardship and administration of donor funds.Coordinates the administrative processes, criteria compliance, and awarding process for foundation grant funds.Generates reports and metrics, conducts research, and creates opportunities to cultivate mid-level donors.Provides donor stewardship and customized engagement with an integrated effort to enrich and deepen 1:1 experiences for donors, including but not limited to site visits, meetings, exclusive opportunities, personalized thank you notes and impact reports.Creates and maintains annual calendar of donor stewardship and outreach touchpoints.Researches prospects and categorizes their participation in volunteering or fundraising activities.Provides support to ensure that all corporate donations and pledges are reconciled.Assists in developing marketing materials in a variety of media to promote fundraising activities.Conducts merges and updates donor records. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the Raiser's Edge database. Required Experience
