The right candidate has agenuine interest in theatre and in providing personalized conciergeservices to our top supporters to create an outstanding donorexperience. The assistant has skills in customer service, CRMs (CustomerRelationship Management Systems), and writing and research. They must beable to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment, whilemaintaining a positive attitude on the development team. This remoteposition is 10-20 hours a week, and begins immediately. From MemorialDay through Labor Day (in season), the assistant position will befull-time (40 hours a week) and the candidate will be required to be onsite in Pittsfield, MA. Dates can be slightly flexible. However acommitment to work through the 2024 summer season is a must. Pleasereview our code of conduct located on our website. -Responsibilities: - Department Newsletter - Design, schedule,draft content of our monthly donor newsletter - Database / DonorRelations - Assist with donation entry in BSC\'s database andpreparing acknowledgment letters; Assist with ticketing and otherservices for major donors; Assisting with pulling reports, appeal listsand cleaning same - Donor Research - Research individual, foundationand corporate donor prospects - Special Events - Assist with allaspects of party and event management including invitation design, RSVPtracking, and follow-up - Legacy Society / Business Partners -Assist with meetings, collateral, etc to advance these program - Generalsupport as needed for the department (ie, drafting agendas, takingminutes, running errands) Additional Responsibilities: - ShowPostering - 2-4X a summer Requirements and Qualifications - Aself-starter with excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented -Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat -Experience and interest in producing e-newsletters using graphic design(i.e., Canva) - Interest or affinity with customer relations software(particular Tessitura) - Strong writing and communication skills - Asolutions-oriented team player - Positive!
