  DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a District Manager, you will create and maintain a diverse, high-performing district team through consistent selection, development, and motivation.  You will be responsible for creating and driving a culture within the district with a focus on providing exceptional customer experience.  Ensure Fine Wine & Good Spirits retail locations remain in compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, and policies and conduct store visits, including meeting with store management, at a frequency consistent with the store grade, but no less than once per quarter.  During store visits, you will observe financial/business drivers such as employee behaviors in relation to the customer experience model.  You will also conduct talent and operational reviews to include the condition of the store, inventory, marketing displays, employees, and adherence to centralized policies and directives.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  This position is on call 24/7.

  Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  You must be willing to travel.  Travel expenses will be paid.

  This position will be home-headquartered OR headquartered at the PLCB headquarters Licensee Service Center #4655, located at 900 Forge Avenue, Suite B-2, Norristown, PA 19403.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year as a State Liquor Store Administrator 2; or

  Two years as a State Liquor Store Administrator 1; or

  Seven years of retail store experience at the manager or assistant manager level which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives; or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives.

  You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.  Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by case basis.
