Purpose:
Join Athene's growing Treasury team – an exciting and dynamic team! The Treasury Analyst will provide support to Athene's rating agency strategy, liquidity & capital management, and treasury operations.
Accountabilities:
Compile data for rating agency requests: annual surveys, quarterly information, ad-hoc requests
Support and collaborate with multiple areas to assist in developing quarterly and annual rating agency presentations
Assist in maintaining key rating agency metrics for the Athene
Gain knowledge of rating agency capital models and RBC, and assist in strategic capital management
Assist with liquidity management and forecasting
Collaborate with multiple individuals on the Treasury team to develop reports and analytics to drive business decisions
Assist in pulling together data and analytics for weekly and monthly Group Treasury reporting package
Research and perform peer analysis on insurance companies with various metrics to assist in management discussions
Perform other special projects as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, management, or economics or equivalent work experience is required.
3+ years of progressively responsible and related professional experience preferred
Experience with Kyriba or similar treasury management systems is highly desired
Preference given to candidates with experience in a Treasury or Rating Agency Department
Working knowledge of Excel is required
Desired skills include: customer service orientation, demonstrated ability to be flexible and change, demonstrated track record of analytical & conceptual thinking, enjoys working in a team environment
