Military service membersand veterans are encouraged to apply. Job Duties: Plan and organizeloads within region to dispatch trucks to meet customer requests andproduction team activities. Communicates with customers to determinedriver demand and driving schedules. Notifies drivers of assignments andenters assignment data into a computer database. Prepare deliverytickets for drivers and respond to inquiries from drivers. Utilizemulti-line phones, two-way radios, and computer software for data entryand route coordination. Performs administrative duties. WorkEnvironment: Indoor office environment. Physical Requirements: FrequentSitting. Experience & Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent.2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Adequatecombination of education/service years/experience will be considered forthe right candidate. Familiar with commonly-used concepts, practices,and procedures within the trucking industry. Relies on experience andjudgment to plan and accomplish goals. Assertive, self-motivated andpositive attitude. Attention to detail while performing a variety oftasks is a must. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.Customer service oriented. Intermediate level in MS Office: Outlook,Excel and Word.
