　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Role Summary: Responsible for communications into and within the hospital by use of the telephone switchboard, pagers, public address systems, and internal radio communications. Primary focus of the job is to respond quickly and courteously to all incoming calls, route these calls to the proper extension, and properly respond to procedures for emergency codes. Internal communications includes, but not limited to, the following departments: Maintenance, Shuttle, after hour Courier, Valet and Material Management services

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Required Education: High School Diploma

　　Required License: The following must be completed within six months of employment:

　　Certification in Verbal Defense and Influence (VDI)

　　Preferred License: AAPCO Certification

　　Required Experience: One year experience on Microsoft Windows and completion of Windows Competency testing

　　Preferred Experience: Other courses and certifications that would promote job performance
