ICF’s Disaster Management Division is currently seeking a Disaster Service Coordinator to join us immediately. This is an early career full-time, benefits-eligible position located Onsite daily in our office space in Cupey, Puerto Rico.
The Disaster Management division works with government agencies and communities to design and implement policies and programs to promote increased resilience to disasters and to promote long-term recovery in housing, economic revitalization, and infrastructure after disaster strikes. Our functional expertise is in program management, technical assistance, training, performance measurement and evaluation, website development, and adult learning. Clients include HUD, HHS, and USDA among others. We often work in close collaboration with ICF experts across the firm on issues related to energy efficiency and green building, infrastructure, disaster planning and recovery, financial literacy, job training, and others. All work is done in a professional, collegial, and intellectual environment that allows individuals to pursue their passions and generate results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist applicants with filing warranty claims face-to-face.
• Perform a variety of responsible, confidential and complex administrative and organizational functions
Assist management with task associated with customer service, case management, warranty claims and administration.
• Track status of warrant claims and work with construction managers on outstanding warranty claims.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, people-facing environment daily.
• Work on multiple tasks, often juggling priorities and working with tight deadlines.
• Gather, scan, and store required program eligibility and other required information in electronic databases and case management systems.
• Become knowledgeable of policies and procedures governing federally funded recovery programs including knowledge of procedures, policies, and directives associated with federal disaster recovery programs, specifically HUD CDBG-DR.

MUST HAVE Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience in customer service in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, people-facing environment.
• High School Diploma
• Current Resident of Puerto Rico
• Fully Bilingual English and Spanish, able to read, write, speak and type in English fluently.

• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, work under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, organize time effectively

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$27,258.00 - $46,339.00
