As part of Jacobs’ Oracle Financials (ERP) Support team, you’ll join a group of strategically focused professionals, providing solutions and driving enhancements for our internal customers. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future – big and small, global and local.
As the Oracle Financials Project Accounting Analyst , you’ll be actively engaged in:
Research of issues submitted by users to determine root cause, solution, and future prevention.
Providing analysis of Help Desk tickets and identifying common issues
Where required, working with IT to clear processing exceptions
Assisting with general data clean-up activities relating to customer merges and project housekeeping items like project closures
Assisting with More4Apps uploads and changes for non-contract project types
Assisting with critical month end processes relating to POC reversals
Functional testing of system changes, fixes, and enhancements
Helping maintain documentation for core processes
General support and other ad-hoc initiatives that may arise
Here's What You'll Need:
Strong working knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 application Project Accounting module
An aptitude for analytical and critical thinking
Ability to be flexible and effective balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Proficient computer skills using MS Office tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups etc)
Ability to effectively engage with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including communicating complex technical concepts to users and management
Proactive, problem solving mindset.
