Works in alignment with Leadership to provide administrative and supervisory support to the Wound Care Center. Responsible for the clinical leadership, management and promotion of the Unity Wound Care Center. Makes certain that care is delivered by those who are competent and trained to do so, according to policy and all regulatory requirements. Serves as the primary resource for excellence in clinical care. Ensures superior patient/family customer service reflective of the RRHS mission and values.

SCHEDULE: 8hr Day Shift
ATTRIBUTES:
MSRN/MHA/MBA/MPA preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS Registered Nurse preferred Minimum of 5 years experience in wound care.Minimum 3 years leadership / management experience
Required Licensure/Certification:
Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional preferred Wound Care Certified.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributes to, promotes, and actively participates in the goals and activities of RRHS. Coordinates development of performance improvement goals for the department(s). Develops and monitors objective measures of performance for the department(s) (including Clinical quality and patient satisfaction.)Determines the staffing plan(s) for department that ensures quality care, customer and employee satisfaction within budget. Manages all departmental clinical personnel matters including hiring, orienting, training, performance evaluation, wage adjustment, promotion, termination and payroll. Effectively communicates with staff and conducts regular department meetings with the Manager, Physician Services.Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and systems that improve quality, satisfaction, accessibility, efficiency, and financial performance. Assures compliance with policies as well as external regulatory & credentialing agencies. Participates in the development and maintenance of a quality assurance program. Identifies problems and provides alternatives and/or resolutions after thorough analysis of relevant information. Investigates patient complaints and provides or arranges for documentation and follow-up, including incident reports.Interfaces with all departments and entities with a peripheral relationship to the Wound Care Center (i.e. Centralized Scheduling, Inpatient Nursing, Clinical Engineering, Purchasing, Patient Accounting, Corporate Communications etc.) Also with contract vendors.Assists with annual budget preparation and reviews monthly financial reports. Also participates in the development of annual and long range capital budgets; and facilitates the evaluation, selection and purchase of approved capital items. Is knowledgeable of the financial operations and supports all business initiatives.Provides clinical services consistent with education, experience, and non-clinical duties.Collaborates with the leadership team to optimize the success of the Wound Care Center.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $118,000.00 - $153,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
