The EA Strategy and Engagement (EASE) team leads substantive and significant projects and activities to deliver value across the department and the company. Our work is diverse and wide-ranging, but focused on providing material support to the identity and strategic goals of the enterprise. We are seeking a candidate to lead EA's Project Management Office (PMO), a best-in-class project delivery function that shapes, plans, governs, and propels the successful execution of EA's highest priority work. This includes setting the strategic agenda for the department's delivery capabilities and leading a team of Project Managers.
In this role you will:
Oversee the successful delivery of a diverse slate of complex and high priority projects managed by the PMO and executed in partnership with teams across EAServe as subject matter expert in EA on the execution of strategic initiatives in a well-managed, sustainable wayPartner with the broader EASE team to evolve and manage EA enablement forums and strategic project management processes to deliver initiatives in a dynamic environment with maximum impactPartner cross-functionally inside and outside of EA to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive results and ensure delivery continues to run smoothly in broader contextBuild relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure necessary resources and commitments from partner teamsUse project management and people leadership expertise to empower and inspire junior project managers to grow into the next generation of leadersBe a beacon for people leadership, providing the right growth opportunities for associates, supported by direct, timely and actionable development feedback.Live the principles of positivity, humility, inclusivity, and sound judgment every step of the way and value diversity of thought, regardless of title or job function
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong influencing skills and experience navigating and negotiating at Executive level through the nuances of a resource-constrained delivery environmentOutstanding communication and partnership skills for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, influence ad drive outcomesOrganizational agility to adapt to changing demandsStrong consulting and collaboration skillsAbility to think creatively and problem solve around issuesA growth mindset and curious nature to ask, "what if..."Demonstrated strong leadership proficiency, inspiring teams to innovate, think differently, grow their careers and produce outstanding results
Basic Qualifications:
At least 7 years of project management / delivery experience using a range of different delivery methodologiesAt least 5 years of people leadership experience leading teams of 5 of more
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of Project Management/delivery experience5+ years experience leading delivery across multiple teams in a complex organization with competing priorities in a matrix-managed environment
