　　Summary and Role Purpose

　　The 3D Motion Designer plays a key role in the Video Production team's development of branded video and motion graphics content to support and reinforce the Ansys brand. Working with creative directors, editors, designers, campaign managers, digital, and social media, this role will deliver animation, graphic effects, and motion graphics content to inspire and engage our target audience. Additionally, the 3D Motion Designer will support creative production with digital imaging management, editing support, and ideation.

　　The ideal candidate will have a solid background in 2D and 3D animation either at an agency, production house, or internal marketing team. Those with freelance or contract experience, with the right skill set, will also be considered.

　　Key Duties and Responsibilities

　　Support the creation of consistent, high-quality animation content that adheres to brief requirements and brand standardsWork closely with Creatives and Designers to ensure that produced work is consistent in look, tone, and above all, adhering to Ansys brandingImprove and enhance product-level content, promotional content, and demos to ensure valuable technical content is presented in the best possible waysCreate engaging digital advertising, video banners, paid media, and pre-roll graphicsTranslate engineering simulation output into 3D animations and graphic assets for use by the broader marketing teamTake ownership of creative work in presenting video content to internal stakeholders and by proactively addressing revisions and reviewsInnovate - continually investigate new methods, tools, and technologies to improve video production processes

　　Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

　　Bachelor's Degree in Film, Animation, Marketing, or a related field4+ years' experience in film and video production, primarily in animation or post-productionA strong portfolio of past-work or personal 2D and 3D motion design examplesAbility to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver successful outcomesProficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud products, particularly Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After EffectsProficiency with 3D animation software, such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar

　　Preferred Qualifications and SkillsFamiliarity with engineering, science, or technology content productionMastery of Microsoft Office suite of productsFamiliarity with Blackmagic, Sony, Canon, or ARRI camera systems and processes for managing RAW footage (ARRI RAW, BRAW)
