  The Director, OSCM will have responsibility for the development and execution of large scale, long-range Site and Supply operational objectives and strategic plans. The leader will identify strategic opportunities to significantly impact business growth and profitability and will also provide functional governance for Core/Non-Core + Make/Buy Site and Supply decisions and Work Transfers across the entire business to ensure strategic milestones are achieved on-time and budget.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Lead the Core/Non-Core + Make/Buy strategic planning processes for the business

  Complete annual competitive assessments to monitor evolving competitive threats and opportunities

  Identify strategic Site & Supply projects to mitigate competitive threats and drive competitive advantage

  Drive completion of strategic project milestones through the Strategy Development process

  Drive alignment with all stakeholders as new opportunities are considered & evolve in passport reviews

  Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure passport proposals are both aggressive and achievable

  Provide functional governance for all Site & Supply and Work Transfer passport reviews within the Aerostructures business

  Ensure consistent financial modeling and total landed cost analysis for all Site & Supply Projects

  Coordinate financial modeling resources across other functional groups to meet analysis timelines

  Benchmark product and mfg. technology capabilities compared to the industry and competitors

  Drive product and mfg. technology commonality across the Site & Supply and program infrastructure

  Assess materials and processes across programs and drive part family optimization activities

  Ensure phase gate reviews for manufacturing readiness level (MRL), technology readiness levels (TRL) and in-service readiness level (ISRL) are used to monitor and mitigate risk to the business

  Identify and execute large scale footprint projects for site expansion, modification, and rationalization

  Perform site selections and negotiate economic incentives for large scale investment projects

  Manage Aerostructures construction standards and project management

  Provide project management for all high-risk work transfers within Aerostructures

  Manage all moves of large monument manufacturing equipment

  Provide subject matter expert assistance as required for work transfer or recoveries outside of OSCM

  Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  Typically requires University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience

  This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program.   Employee Referral Eligible

  The salary range for this role is 188,000 USD - 378,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
