　　Job Summary

　　The Service Director is accountable for the Los Angeles on-call staffing team and all service standards under the Wolfgang Puck Catering brand. All Los Angeles senior and on-call captains report to the service director for hiring & training needs. The additional responsibilities also include administering all relevant corrective communication requirements, fostering and maintaining internal/external client relationships as they pertain to service, financial accountability as it relates to budgets both from an event as well as departmental perspective, ownership of all ongoing hiring/training and development needs to ensure adequate staffing levels are in place at all times, as well as vendor relationship management. Ultimately, the service director is accountable for the successful event execution as it relates to the Front of the House for all Los Angeles & Off Premise LA Wolfgang Puck Catering events. The director will confer with internal as well as external clients, team members across business units as well as unit managers in all phases of their event planning as well as execution as it relates specifically to service to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

　　Responsibilities:

　　Work directly Catering Directors/Managers to ensure all catering events are carried out according to the standards of the company and client.

　　Ensure high levels of customer service are executed for each event.

　　Interview, hire, train, as well as assist with scheduling all butlers and captains within the local staffing pool.

　　Conduct orientation for all Catering Directors/Managers regarding Restaurant Associates standards of service

　　Execute all coaching, counseling and follow up training for all employees according to Company Policies and Procedures

　　Performs related duties and special projects as assigned

　　Supports Catering Directors and Managers with staffing budgets and maintains financial accountabilities as it relates to service

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor degree is required or experience equivalent. Additional professional experience and or education is preferred as well

　　Strong knowledge of food, industry trends and fine dining points of service

　　A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in managing catering events, unit GM experience as well as financial reporting accountability experience preferred

　　Exceptional customer service abilities

　　Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills

　　Proven ability to manage remote teams and produce relevant business results a plus

　　Excellent overall computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

　　Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business
