Robert Half is partnering with an established real estate investment company based in Las Vegas, Nevada in their search for a Staff Accountant. Opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive environment ideal for team players looking to grow within a fast-paced company.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports

Record monthly journal entries for accrual and cash basis books

Maintain accounting workpapers for balance sheet accounts

Review monthly financial reports

Assist in processing distributions

Assist in preparing year-end reporting for investors

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications include:

3+ years of accounting general ledger experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Real estate property management accounting experience preferred

Yardi accounting system experience is a plus, but not required

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (large datasets, lookups, pivot tables)

Self-starter who is action-oriented
