The Opportunity
Candidate must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Greater Toronto, Ontario or surrounding area to support the region. Approximately 40% travel required, servicing territories in the Ontario region to start, with future expansion across other provinces. The position requires flexibility in work schedule, including evening hours and some weekends. As a Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for people and our culture.
You’ll empower, support, trust and enable our remarketing account executives to do the work they are tasked with.You’ll put an emphasis on creativity and can bring the vision of the organization to everyday team activities.You’ll have a knack for collaboration cross-functionally, with the ability to remove obstacles and build bridges with other matrix partners.You’ve always gotten a thrill by bringing out the best unique talent from those on your team.

The Work Itself
You will lead a team of remarketing account executives within your assigned territory, providing support and guidance as needed. This will include evaluating and providing ongoing coaching and teaching.You will have a strategic vision to plan through forecasting while building your team to handle what is to come.We use Salesforce to track sales plans. You will review sales activities, targets, and strategies in order to guide your team to maximize results. This will include producing monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of your territory and assigned remarketing account executives.You’re the ultimate team player and you’re only happy when your entire team succeeds.You use your creativity to leverage the strengths of the organization and established relationships with auto dealers.You’re able to come up with new ideas while executing and protecting the Ally brand; however, you can also collaborate with others on a final decision for the good of the company. You’re not afraid to push back, but you also know when it’s best to follow suit and do the right thing.Good is never enough in your book. You’re tenacious and always striving to be better by driving change, learning from it and getting your team to learn from it, too.A substantial amount of your time will be spent traveling with your remarketing account executives to attend important meetings and symposiums with sales personnel as well as deliver sales presentations to key clients.The Skills You Bring
At least 7 years of experience working on a diverse and highly productive team.Leading with influence to make your team better each day.Well-developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills. Sales training experience is a plus!Automotive industry experience required. Vehicle Remarketing experience preferred.A passion for innovation, collaboration and creativity.HS diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Experienced: 157500
Expert: 190000
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
