  Description

  We are looking for responsible, reliable Direct Support Professionals who love working with people in need. Our Direct Support Professionals are responsible for assisting with daily living skills, socialization, community outings, caregiving, medication administration and many other tasks. Open Cases:

  LANGUAGE: ENGLISH FEMALE

  Bronx 10458: Verbal 28 year old female, 10 hours a week of community habilitation to improve independent living skills. Desired schedule: open, Diagnosis: Autism

  Bronx 10467: verbal 9 year old male, 7 hours a week of respite to partake in social recreational activities, 10 am – 1:30 pm Saturday & Sunday. Diagnosis: Intellectual Disability

  Bronx 10462: verbal 16 year old male, 16 hours a week of respite to partake in social recreational activities, flexible schedule, after 4 pm any day during the week. Diagnosis: Autism

  MALE

  Bronx 10457: Verbal 17 year old male, 4 hours a week of community habilitation to improve independent living skills. Desired schedule: Saturday or Sunday after 11am . Diagnosis: Autism, emotional outburst

  Bronx 10455: Verbal 12 year old male, 15 hours a week of respite to partake in social recreational activities and 10 hours a week of community habilitation goal oriented. Desired schedule: Friday after 4 pm and Saturday & Sunday flexible schedule after 11 am. Diagnosis: Intellectual disability, emotional outbursts

  Bronx 10472: verbal 14 year old male, 10 hours a week of community habilitation to improve independent living skills and 18.5 hours a week of respite for recreational activities. Desired schedule: Monday-Friday 5-7 pm and weekends open schedule, in the afternoons: autism

  Bronx 10453: Verbal 19 year old male, 6 hours a week of community habilitation to improve independent living skills and 6 hours a week of com hab. Desired schedule: any 3 days of the week, starting at 10 am

Desired schedule: Monday-Thursday after 3:30-8pm pm and Friday's after 3pm-8pm. Diagnosis: Intellectual Disability

  What are the RESPONSIBILITIES?

  Perform assessments on residents.

  Teach residents living skills.

  Communicate with staff to coordinate care plans.

  Make sure that residents are safe and well cared for.

  Supervise residents when they are engaging in activities outside of their room.

  Create daily schedules for group activities.

  Be actively friendly to residents, family members, and coworkers.

  What is the EDUCATION requirements?

  High School Diploma or equivalent required (we provide training)Job Types: Part-time, Contract
