The Northern Arizona University Athletic Department is searching for aqualified, creative, and driven candidate to serve as the Director ofDigital Production. This role will lead all departmental efforts in liveevent streaming, in-venue videoboard operations, creative videoproduction tailored for gameday fan experience, and control roomoperations all the while assisting with fulfillment of corporatepartnership activations, marketing and promotional creative, and more.This position will serve as a member of the department\'s External teamand will oversee one full-time position, a Graduate Assistant, and astudent internship program.
Management and Administrative Duties - 25%
Management and professional development of one full-time position,one Graduate Assistant position, and a student internship program.Administer unit budget, including equipment upkeep and upgrades,data licenses, student employment wages, and generaladministrational expenses.Working alongside the department\'s multi-media rightsholderLEARFIELD, coordinate the fulfillment of corporate partner mediaassets through videoboard operations during home events, live eventstreaming, and more.Videoboard Operations - 25%
Oversee all control room operations, including but not limited toDaktronics Show Control and Daktronics Content Studio for thedepartment\'s nine videoboards in facilities that host football,men\'s and women\'s basketball, track and field, and swim and divingevents.Upkeep of control room, creative media, and streaming equipment,including but not limited to TriCaster, 3Play, cameras, tripods,cables, etc.Run content schedule for department\'s BrightSign display boardsutilizing BrightAuthor software.Creative Media Content Creation - 25%
Manage the creative video production processes focusing on in-venuevideoboard content to provide a high quality, engaging, andenergetic fan experience and atmosphere.Monitor and recognize current trends in digital media and identifybest practices to enhance department\'s efforts.Live Event Streaming Operations - 20%
Production of live event ESPN+ streaming for home Soccer,Volleyball, and select Men\'s and Women\'s Basketball games.Other - 5%
Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in related field.1-2 years of management or supervisory experience.2-4 years of relevant experience.Any combination of relevant education and experience may besubstituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications
Ability to produce content from concept to delivery, bothindividually and as part of a team.Excellent communication and project management skills.Advanced proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud, especiallyPremierePro, After Effects and Photoshop.Advance proficiency using professional editing software.Proficiency in basic control room operations.Demonstrated skills in live sports productions.Experience with live event streaming efforts and equipment.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
