　　A Day in the Role:

　　• Oversees the day-to-day activities for accounting functions, which includes collaborating with the Director of Accounting and the program accounting staff on month-end closing, reconciliations, cash flow projections, and financial statement preparation.

　　• Oversees all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems related to programs ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

　　• Manages the development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.

　　• Establishes major economic objectives and policies for program accounting, revises and updates reports to be more useful and efficient, and furnishes external reports as necessary; prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
