JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Director will provide finance supportto Medica Market Leaders. Medica\'s Market Leaders develop and executestrategic growth plans for defined geographic region across all productofferings. The Director will be an integral partner with multiple MarketLeaders within the company, and as such, will actively help them toevaluate existing markets/products, assist with defining, initiating andtracking ad hoc short-term tactical actions that may be needed, and willpartner continuously with the Market Leaders to establish long-termstrategic plans and initiatives that are based on solid data and aconcrete understanding of the relevant market. The Director partnerswith market leaders to set market share goals, create strategies forachievement, and will help to design \"exit ramp\" criteria if goals arenot met. The Director also monitors the business environment in themarket, including, but not limited to, conducting competitor analysisfor markets. The Director will also be asked to routinely interface withvarious internal and external strategic partners. The Director will needto establish positive business relations with the strategic partner\'ssenior leadership team, and the Director will often be called upon torelay financial performance to the leadership teams as well as to helpformulate realistic go-forward strategies (could include traditionalat-risk products and/or capitated products with associated risk pools).The Director will often need to take lead on the collection andcompilation of data within the company in anticipation of future needsand communication. Key Accountabilities: Partners with market leaders onthe successful execution of Medica\'s growth objectives for productsbeing offered or proposed for given markets by providing financialanalysis of potential growth opportunities based on modeling/dataanalysis. Serves as the primary financial partner for key strategicpartners. Conducts in-depth financial analysis of relationships with keycustomers and providers in order to measure impact and progress towardachieving market revenue and membership goals and contributes thisanalysis to decision-making processes within the business. Interactsregularly with market leaders to set market share goals and createstrategies for achievement. Also provides general finance support toMarkets division. Monitors the overall business environment acrossrelevant markets and shares insights with market leaders. Providescompetitor analysis. Leads and coaches staff members, ensuringdevelopment and accountability.
