About Director, Information Technology

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  · Provide leadership and vision for digital transformation through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), business applications, and infrastructure modernization, as well as implementing new technologies to meet business and end user needs.

  · Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise including functional leaders, decision makers, stakeholders, systems owners, and end-users to define business, financial, and operational requirements to enable desired business outcomes.

  · Provide thought leadership to address technical areas of opportunity in the business unit(s) they support as well as the entire enterprise focusing on the best solution(s).

  · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, cybersecurity and industry trends, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  · Ensure cybersecurity policies, tools, and controls meet business and end user requirements, provide adequate levels of protection to the business, and reduce overall risk.

  · Define, implement, and manage appropriate cyber security controls that ensure the business is in compliance with regulatory requirements and standards

  · Review and analyze existing business processes and application systems to develop strategies for improvement.

  · Provide advanced functional/technical knowledge and project leadership for future technology projects.

  · Possess expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, with experience overseeing and maintaining integrations, customizations, data modeling, platform development, and solutions for sales, service, and other business functions.

  Manage IT staffing including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.· Manage and supervise assigned teams to achieve goals within available resources; plan and organize workloads and staff assignments; train, motivate and evaluate assigned staff; review progress and direct changes as needed.

  Manage the delivery of multiple projects through full product development lifecycle via traditional and Agile delivery methodology.

  Hands-on experience implementing and managing IT Service Management (ITSM) applications and processes, including managing IT workflows, automations, service catalogs, and process customizations.

  Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers including but not limited to Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and 3 rd Party Service Providers.

  POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  · Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Technology, Computer Science or related area

  · Experience scoping requirements, defining architecture and implementing new ERP systems across multiple business functions required preferably in an industrial/manufacturing setting

  · Experience with effectively leading development teams and successfully delivering projects - 5 years

  · Experience in standard and custom software development and out of the box system configuration and system implementation

  · Experience with ERP system software development and/or enterprise programming design and systems management

  · Experience with SQL databases, system integrations and modern programming languages

  · Ability to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and information management across the IT organization

  · Experience with API and cloud-based integration patterns

  · Extensive hands-on solution and implementation through to production support and/or retirement

  · Experience with modern/cloud-based ERP platforms, managing Web applications and infrastructure knowledge;

  · Experience with AS/400 (PRMS as ERP)

  OTHER QUALIFICAITONS:

  · Strong Project Management Skills

  · Proven leadership, ability to motivate, effective communication skills and strong followership.

  · Minimum of 10 years total experience with increasing responsibilities in management roles

  5+ years’ experience in IT project management that includes financial/budget management and resource management and the ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently.

  Extensive experience balancing a complex organization, maintaining, and servicing existing solutions, while building new solutions and capabilities

  Ability to handle confidential information
