Job Description

Job Summary

Directly manages and supports ICHRA business development efforts, functions and processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manages and provides leadership and guidance regarding their specific area of business development expertise

• Partners with business development field personnel in the identification and evaluation of potential new market opportunities

• Collaborates with internal and external resources to conduct market development support activities for new and re-procuring opportunities.

• Participates in the development of Molina's business development goals, themes and approach around all activities

• Participates in national Medicaid and related healthcare conferences, seminars, and meetings

• Participates in other business development activities on an ad-hoc basis.

• Lead, support and report on the research of pertinent Medicaid market information including state regulations and contracts, competitive intelligence and other state Medicaid specific details.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

• Ability to navigate and research the internet for pertinent information

• Willingness and ability to travel

• Ability to develop relationships with external stakeholders (regulators, Medicaid department individuals, etc.)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including MSWord, MSExcel and MSPowerPoint

• Ability to abide by Molina's policies

• Maintain regular attendance based on agreed-upon schedule

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

• Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

BS, Marketing or Management

Required Experience

5 - 10 years in business development settings.

Preferred Education

MBA

Preferred Experience

7 - 12 years in business development settings.

ICHRA business development experience.

Conference management experience.

Pay Range: $97,299 - $227,679 / ANNUAL

*Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
