　　What you will do

　　The Director External Manufacturing is responsible for will lead in deploying best practices, driving standardization and continuous improvement across the External Manufacturing (EM) network, supporting various skin and essential health category of products in North America. This role will lead a team of 4-6 people, supporting clusters of external manufacturing sites, managing around 0.6 billion dollars in sales revenue. The Director will interface with key internal stakeholders in Procurement, Plan, Quality and Network Strategy to define the EM operating model strategy and executing projects that build sustained service capability.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　This role is accountable to deliver reliable supply, cost savings, and high product quality through successful influence and relationship management with the EM network.

　　The External Manufacturing Director will be responsible for new site start-ups, network moves and new product launches.

　　The Director will lead a team in executing short and long term solutions that will support the customer service, compliance, and cost agenda in the network.

　　The individual must have a thorough understanding of the EM network, consumer supply chain processes, financial levers, manufacturing knowledge and capacity management to remove constraints and implement processes for optimal utilization while minimizing impact on service and cost.

　　This individual will be responsible for scoping out projects, assessing benefit and impact, prioritization and stakeholder alignment, budgeting and project tracking. The individual must be able to develop, attract and retain talents.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelors' degree is required

　　10 years of business experience is required, with experience in manufacturing, operations management, or supply chain required.

　　Prior experience in internal/external manufacturing is required.

　　Demonstrated experience and success in people development and building high performing teams is required.

　　Experience managing direct reports required.

　　Demonstrated effectiveness in establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with internal and external business partners to meet strategic business needs is required.

　　The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated successful functional and business leadership and possess a demonstrated effectiveness in influencing and working with senior leadership is required.

　　Ability to use marketplace and supply base knowledge to establish competitive advantage is required.

　　Ability to travel up to 20-25% primarily US is required.

　　Desired Qualifications

　　Advanced degree or MBA is preferred.

　　Experience in a regulated healthcare environment is preferred.

　　An expertise with multiple product platform technologies, such as solid dose, liquids or engineered products, and the manufacturing processes is preferred.

　　Demonstrated track record in developing successful data-driven business growth or functional area growth strategies, including benchmarking within the applicable industries is preferred.

　　Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $137,000 to $235,750. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
