The Director of Demand Generation will take on full responsibility for all aspects of demand generation – defining, creating, executing, and measuring integrated marketing campaigns using a variety of program types and channels. As a key member of the marketing senior staff, the Director will also help shape and guide the overall marketing and go-to-market strategy and work closely with sales and sales leadership on the complete path to purchase experience.
The Director, Demand Generation will manage the team responsible for researching and determining the most appropriate means to generate awareness and interest among our target buyers: Advisors and Business Buyers at the Enterprise. This role will then craft and run campaigns across traditional, digital, social, major and regional events, account-based marketing, and inbound channels.
This is a 100% remote eligible role.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and define overall demand generation strategy in alignment with overall marketing and sales plans, with emphasis on growing increasing product demand and growing sales pipeline. Develop and execute high impact campaigns to generate interest and lead to high quality sales opportunities. Collaborate with the content team, product marketing and other internal stakeholders to build high quality campaign content. Establish key performance indicator metrics, create lead forecasts, and develop dashboards to track performance. Continually measure, analyze, and report on programs across a variety of metrics, including leads, opportunities, cost per lead, etc. Partner with business development to ensure close alignment between sales and marketing to increase demand program effectiveness, and overall revenue attainment. Continuously improve efficiency of delivery of demand generation programs, considering changing market conditions, new consumer insights, and emerging opportunities. BA/BS degree in marketing or business domain or equivalent experience required 10+ years of experience in marketing or related field with progressive leadership roles 5+ years of people management experience Experience across breadth of demand generation mix: inbound, digital, social, events, account based marketing, etc. Skills
Highly creative – ability to think outside the box to find new ways to generate interest and excitement among our target prospects Strong analytical skills – ability to measure, analyze, understand and present data to measure program effectiveness and validate strategy and spend. Very strong written and verbal communication skills CRM (Salesforce.com) and marketing automation experience Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical staff, customers, and partners The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $177,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
