Director, Data Analytics
The Mission: We are seeking a highly talented Director, Data Analytics responsible for the strategic planning and oversight of D&G’s Data Analytics Practice across a portfolio of 30+ DHS and DoD active contracts. Primary clients include the USCG, DLA, USTRANSCOM, DHS CWMD, DHS CISA, DHS I&A, DHS ICE and DIA where D&G has been an award winning prime contractor since 2016. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning, oversight, and growth of D&G’s Data Analytics capabilities across a broad spectrum of DHS, DoD, and other Federal Clients.
Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing guidance on data analytics technologies and potential expansion within D&G’s current programs.
Support D&G’s business development to include capture and proposal efforts that involve data analytics requirements.
Serve as primary POC with government and industry partners relative to D&G’s data analytics capabilities.
Lead for D&G’s efforts to build analytical tools and data pipeline.
Plan and oversee the implementation of D&G’s data analytics center of excellence to include development of personnel requirements, training, and certifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree
10 years’ experience leading data analytics programs.
5 years’ experience leading data analytics for DoD or DHS Clients.
Experience supporting data analytics capture / proposal efforts.
Experience with data analytics software and tools (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop); Relational NoSQL and SQL databases (Cassandra, Pastgres); Workflow Management (Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban); AWS Services (Redshift, RDS, EMR, EC2); Stream-processing Systems (Spark-Streaming, Storm); and Object oriented scripting (Scala, C++, Java, Python).
Ability to build and optimize data sets, ‘big data’ data pipelines and architectures
Place of Performance: Hybrid: Primarily remote location (employee choice) with occasional travel to client sites and/or data analytics conferences and forums.
