　　Position Overview

　　The Director, Commercial Analytics will develop market forecasts for thedifferent utility-scale generation projects, and advise Developers onpotential future sites for various Clean Energy Technologies. Based outof Invenergy\'s downtown Chicago headquarters, the Senior Manager,Commercial Analytics will also be responsible for monitoring natural gasmarkets, and assisting with M&A and marketing activities.

　　Responsibilities

　　Identify the use of financial models and quantitative studies andprograms needed to properly value development and operating projectsRecommend and justify short term and long term hedge strategiesconsistent with business practices and to assist with projectdevelopment, asset acquisitions, and marketing activitiesCreation of short, intermediate, and long-term forecasts ofelectricity markets and market conditions needed for Development andISO/RTO bidding strategiesDirect the creation and maintenance of computer applications,analytical tools, and models to store and evaluate market data thatsupport Development and MarketingWork with Commercial Execution to establish and update long termpricing grids to enable optimization of existing assetsEngage with Asset Managers and Developers regarding operating plansfor thermal and renewable assetsRequired Skills

　　Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering,or FinanceFive(+) years of experience in a utility/generator operationsenvironmentExceptional analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrable expertise with security constrained economic dispatchmodeling and use of software packages and common data sourcesThe candidate will possess excellent written and oral communicationsskills to convey knowledge about commodity markets and its impact onelectricity markets and customers (internal and external).#LI-Hybrid
