Company is looking for a Billing Associate.
The key role of this Accounting Department position is to efficiently and effectively provide invoices to customers and assist field location teams regarding all billing.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
• Prepare all invoices review/enter all charges, print invoice and mail with applicable documentation (including any invoice support) to customers or submit electronically when applicable.
• Able to review data, correct discrepancies and reconcile customer purchase orders to invoices.
• Proactively identify and resolve billing related issues. This includes reconciling POC (percentage of completion) job from revenue earned to billed to date.
• Responsible for all projects in UKG (related to field jobs tracked) including set-up, closing, and cancelled.
• Interact with company insurance broker to obtain certificates of insurance.
• Prepare prelims as needed.
• Assist with collections as needed.
• Assist with field teams as needed.
• Exhibit strong communication skills in customer interactions, exhibit creativity and skill in delivering practical solutions and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to create spreadsheets using Excel.
• Assist with complete set up of new accounts, credit set up if applicable.
• Able to work independently without much oversight.
• Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Related Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working in accounting/collections/billing environment, preferably for a service company.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Efficient in multitasking and adaptable to unforeseen changes.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledgeable with Great Plains accounting systems and CRM database is preferred.
• Ability to interact with employees, vendors and customers in a professional and service-oriented manner.
• Must have consistent attendance and timeliness.
