JOB DESCRIPTION: [MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Avanade Inc. is seeking multiple Director, Analytics Architects in New York, NY to translate business requirements to technical solutions leveraging strong business expertise. You will: analyze current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identify future business opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics PaaS Services; develop overall solution plans and strategic visions for data and analytics solutions, providing a comprehensive roadmap for clients’ needs; provide high-level architectural expertise to sales, projects, and other analytics teams; perform a key management and thought leadership role in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, text mining, data discovery statistical methods, database design and implementation; define and achieve a strategic roadmap for the enterprise including data modelling, implementation and data management for our enterprise data warehouse and advanced data analytics systems; identify risks, assumptions, and develop estimates end-to-end based on solution plans; and build relationships with Solution Architects and collaborate on promoting solution architectural best practices across the company. Periodic travel to client sites is expected. Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of New York, NY. Offered Salary: $282,700 - $282,700.REQUIREMENTS: The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or closely related field, plus at least ten (10) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Director, Analytics Architect, or in a similar role within a technology or IT consulting environment. A qualified applicant's professional experience must include: 8 years of experience using Azure, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS, ADF, and other Microsoft data solution landscape; 5 years of experience with solution sales, joint offering development and business management; 5 years of experience using Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and Azure Data Services; 5 years of experience using SQL DB, Hyperscale, Synapse, SQL MI, Cosmos DB, Databricks, HDInsight, Data Lake, Data Factory, Purview, Power BI, Data Migration Services; 5 years of experience developing Microsoft offerings; and 5 years of experience working with Microsoft and providing detailed insight to offerings, way of working, and products.
