Your challenge
The Advanced Transducer Technology Leader will lead the Transducer Sr Technical leadership team to instill excellence in our Transducer innovation deployment pipeline. The Leader, and his team will identify trends and partner with internal/external resources to differentiate and create competitive advantages for Philips Ultrasound. This role reports to the Transducer R&D leader and is a core member of the Transducer R&D staff.
You are responsible for10+ years of experience in a high technology medical business leading technologies to maturation into successful deployments to diverse Markets.Responsible for identifying and harnessing technologies that will create innovative solutions for our customers most complex clinical and workflow and workflow challenges.In collaboration with our Sr technologists in R & D, they will be responsible for developing winning long term/short term strategies to integrate our transducers onto multiple Ultrasound products for various markets, applications, and price points.Formulates and implements long-term vision/direction/strategy: steering the group to add maximum value to the business in the future. Aligns the strategy with the current and future customer needs.Defines the strategy and drives the new architecture for Transducers while ensuring the new architecture is linked to customer need and our Ultrasound Product Roadmap.To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
MS/PhD in Technical, Engineering or Science discipline (Acoustic/Mechanical/Electrical/Bio Eng) or equivalent.Successful track record of developing and leading high technology investigations in applied Research & Development environment.Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional leaders/teams to achieve mutual visions and goals in complex medical devices.Strong leadership, Strong aspiration to develop team members and interpersonal communication skills.US work authorization is a precondition of employment. Philips Transparency Details:
The pay range for this position is $154,000- $285,00.00 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
