Your Role and Responsibilities
The Direct Category Support will bring a pro-active and inquisitive approach, appreciating the need to be reactive and responsive to clinic needs. Your analytical, and data analysis skills will be used to identify and support opportunities to leverage value that impacts MVH’s bottom line. You will contribute to sourcing strategies that directly support top management decisions and deliver on the bottom line to our business.
This is a remote working from home role, with the occasional visits to the Shirley office when required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the overall performance, savings and profitability of MVH International.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and deliver best-value solutions
• Use data to identify opportunities to deliver value to MVH
Develop a robust understanding and appreciation of the operational needs of our business and ensure our supply chain is managed to mitigate risk and to service clinic requirements.
Become a recognised subject matter expert for your category; the Category Support will build strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and help to identify business needs through: interpreting spend, category planning, building market knowledge, influencing demand, contributing to the development of sourcing strategies, contract development, supplier performance management, and assuring compliance with MVH policies.
Participate in international projects that align with team objectives.
Build relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders and clinics.
We are looking for someone with previous experience within a Category role and be able to demonstrate previous work success with a minimum of 2 years experience in direct Procurement and /or strategy sourcing experience.
