　　Your role will be in the Engineering team where the focus isto ensure that our security mission and that of our customers’ is delivered. You’ll be working on real customer projects from day one; growing in the area of cyber security developing key skills and experience to set up your career in this space.

　　Your role will be helping us design, create and test brand new concepts in security software for customers across the globe. You could be researching cutting edge software solutions across a variety of projects and develop software systems and automation. Working with specialists in an area to innovate the world of security products, following the software development lifecycle.

　　About the apprenticeship you’ll study for.

　　As a Digital Technology Solutions Apprentice, you’ll study for a University Degree in Digital Technology Solutions Level 6 , actively applying what you learn at university to your role within BT. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you’ll receive a BSc degree from one of our University Partners.

　　The degree course runs for four years and is a work-based learning degree.

　　You’ll spend a minimum of 20% of your time learning and studying.

　　After you have successfully completed your apprenticeship qualification and scheme, we’ll support you in securing a role that is best aligned to your strengths and interests.

　　Entry Requirements

　　You’ll need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) three A-Levels with a minimum of BCC grades. You’ll also need a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted.

　　The role is also subject to you gaining and keeping DV (Developed Vetting) level of security clearance. The result of the security clearance vetting is not subject to appeal. Failure to successfully achieve and maintain the necessary level of security clearance may see any offer of employment with BT cease or withdrawn.

　　An allowance of £5k per annum made payable monthly may be paid while you hold DV clearance level and continue to work in a role that requires DV. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited for this role.
