Community Medical and Dental Care, a growing health center in Rockland County, NY, is seeking a qualified and passionate Dietician with the CDCES (formerly CDE) certification. As a CDCES Dietician at Community Medical and Dental Care, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to improve the lives of individuals with diabetes through expert nutritional guidance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for individuals with diabetes and develop personalized diet plans.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to integrate nutrition therapy into overall diabetes management.
Provide ongoing diabetes education and support to patients, empowering them to make informed choices for optimal health.
Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in diabetes care and nutrition to ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices.
Conduct group education sessions and workshops on diabetes management, healthy eating, and lifestyle modification.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and adjust plans accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Dietician with a valid license.
Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification.
Experience in clinical nutrition with a focus on diabetes management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
