　　Responsibilities

　　Assist in the planning and implementation of nutritional care and/or diet plans.

　　Interview and/or review medical history to determine nutritional needs, including obtaining food preferences and documenting food allergies.

　　Collect and process menu selections and reviews menu in accordance to nutritional care plan and/or diet plan.

　　Institute basic nutrition plans, including special dietary care menus. May prepare and process orders for solutions, such as tube feedings or formula preparation.

　　Monitor and document intake and/or acceptance of meals, snacks, and/or supplements. Calculate caloric intake and results.

　　Dietetic Tech credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.Education:

　　• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
