JOB REQUIREMENTS: In an effort to keep all staff and residents safe, andper CMS requirements and Wood County Policy, all newly hired employeesof Edgewater Haven are required to have received the last dose of anFDA-approved COVID-19 vaccination before beginning employment within thefacility. *Responsible for safe and sanitary handling of food,equipment and supplies in the kitchen area. *Responsible for followingthe modified menu when preparing/portioning foods and serving on thetray line. *Prepare portions of salads and desserts, as well as butterthe bread and rolls and place in bags. *Set up supplement and extrasfor each meal. *Prepare between-meal snack. *Assist cooks in preparingsimpler foods for cooking or service, such as vegetables, fruits, andsandwiches. *Prepare dining room for meals. *Assist setting up thetray line area. *Assist with serving residents\' trays at meal time andadhere to mealtime schedule. *Heat special items in microwave oven.*Clean up work area, as well as clear and wipe off dining room tablesand trays after each meal. *Operate the dishwashing machine to insurethorough cleaning of dishware and utensils. *Responsible to know andpractice the Safety policies of the County.
