　　Mechanic Job Duties

　　Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucksRepair and troubleshoot engines such as CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, MBEDiagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy duty componentsPositive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department and customersKeep paper work updated and handed in upon completionMeet requirements for certificationsAdministrative duties as related to positionDesired Skills and Qualities

　　Technical degree or certification a plusPositive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish themThe desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product trainingSolid written and verbal communication skillsMechanic Position Requirements

　　High school diploma or equivalentA minimum of 3 years' experience working with diesel engines and heavy duty trucksBe able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairsMust have your own set of general toolsUse computers for web based training and work order systemMust be physically able to lift and work with no restrictionsMechanic Benefits
