Medical QA Specialist I - MEDIC014917 & MEDIC014529
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:QTC is seeking a Medical Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support our Veteran Affairs Operations in Malvern, PA.
What part would you play in this role?As a Medical QA Specialist, you will work closely with medical providers and the Veterans Administration to ensure the documentation process is complete and accurate. In this role, you will review documentation sent over from medical providers and ensure the report is complete, concise, clear, and correct and the provider has accurately completed the Disability Benefit Questionnaires for delivery back to the VA.
In this rewarding role, you will:* Review exam reports sent over from medical providers* Ensure all medical coding is complete and accurate* Ensure all tests have been ordered and completed* Coordinate with medical providers as needed for clarification of reports* Work with our in house appointment schedules to request additional appointments for the veteran as necessary* Learn more from one of current QA's here!
You must have:* High School diploma, or equivalent (GED) * Minimum of 1-2 years of experience of analyzing medical charts, examinations and test results* Ability to discuss and apply in great detail, your in-depth knowledge of anatomy, pathophysiology, medical terminology, medical tests, and disease processes * Ability to read, understand and interpret medical reports* Experience working in environments with large workloads that require heavy attention to detail
Preferred to have:* Experience in medical coding and documentation* Knowledge of military medical examinations* Vocational training in the medical field, i.e. LVN, Military Corpsman/Medic, EMT, Medical Scribe, MA (back office), etc.

Typical Day:* Mon -- Fri: 8:30am -- 5pm EST* Positions are located ONSITE at our Malvern headquarters at 1700 Paoli Pike, Malvern, PA 19355 * Training: 3-6 months of foundational and entorship training
Pay and Benefits:* Starting pay: $ 23.10 per hour with a 5% increase after successfully completing 3- 6 months of training.* This position qualifies for a quarterly bonus up to 6%.
