PURPOSE OF POSITION: Clean, and fuel diesel locomotives in accordance with governmental and company regulations. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Supplies locomotives with fuel and sand Cleans cabs of locomotives and stocks with supplies needed Uses cleaning agents to clean locomotives, equipment and Diesel House Supplies tools and parts to maintenance personnel Operates forklift, bobcat, trackmobile and moves locomotives in and out of the Diesel House JOB REQUIREMENTS: Previous mechanical experience and/or knowledge of rolling equipment preferred CDL license preferred Must be able to work any of three shifts including weekends and holidays Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions Must have ability to wear safety equipment and work in an environment with grease, oil and cleaning agents WHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER: Flexible and competitive benefits package Employer Funded Retirement Plan Annual Fitness Subsidy Part-time Studies Program ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Medical Requirements: CPKC is committed to the safety and health of its employees and the general public.
