Description:
• Gather and analyze System Configuration and performance validation requirements for engine systems of On-Highway trucks
• Troubleshoot System level performance failures, Perform Root cause failure analysis to prevent potential failures and identify areas of system performance improvements
• Develop control plans, leverage data analysis tools, diagnostics and calibration data using CANape
• Define performance requirements and specifications for test cell operators and create detailed test instructions (DTI) documentation for lab and machine testbed programs
• Generate performance graphs, histograms, identify data abnormalities, develop validation plans, review results from validation, implement required corrective actions and maintain technical documentation
• Perform 1 D simulation using GT Power to generate performance plots, create actual test condition documentation and collaborate with simulation teams for test data correlation.
• Must have post-college experience or translatable work experience within the automotive industry
• Knowledge of diesel engine combustion, after treatment, and, control systems
• Instrumentation installation, troubleshooting, calibration
• Experience Chassis or Towable Chassis Dyno
• Familiar with INCA, Matlab, Vector CANape and CANalyzer If possible
• Mechatronics Software/CAL Flashing)
