Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Senior Manager – Enterprise Architect , reporting to the Director – Architecture in the Information Technology function. The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Director – Architecture to deliver the strategic accountabilities of the Architecture practice by contributing to the definition and implementation of the Dubai Holding’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the business strategy, and driving innovation across the enterprise. The role holder is also responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the Enterprise Architecture governance framework, providing technical leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient IT solutions.

Key Accountabilities:
Strategy and Innovation:
Contribute with the close collaboration with business units and IT leadership teams to design and develop the vision and strategic direction for IT in general and the Enterprise Architecture practice in particular.
Identify opportunities for innovation which support the development of the Dubai Holding Technology Strategy.
Participate in evaluating existing and emerging enterprise technology gaps in order to make informed recommendations that meet the needs of the business.
Governance:
Collaborate across business verticals’ IT functions to identify and leverage common solutions, championing the adoption of architectural patterns and standards.
Manage and govern the Enterprise Architecture in alignment with the overall IT vision, supporting the strategic needs of the business.
Co-chair the Enterprise Design Authority which facilitates the governance process for technology decisions within the enterprise.
Support in the development and execution of the architecture governance processes to enable executive IT leadership to direct investments towards strategically and financially appropriate activities.
Identify, record and manage Architectural Risk where it exists within the enterprise.
Ensure appropriate and timely escalation of key architecture & design decision conflicts.
Project Delivery:
Collaborate with project teams to assist in delivery of the solution implementation by providing guidance as needed to application, engineering and operations teams; Work individually and collaboratively with team members to ensure breadth and granularity of strategies, standards and reference architectures for consistency and accuracy.
Support the evaluation of high-level project architecture & artefacts at a technology governance forum (Enterprise Design Authority) to ensure business and technology strategic fit.
Ensure that project-level designs are properly developed and reviewed and standards are adhered to, enforcing the Architecture Principles, recording Technical Debt where they cannot be met.
Participate in the creation of, and oversee the maintenance and use of, the portfolio analysis of each business vertical within Dubai Holding, ensure that all information is captured correctly and recorded in the chosen architecture tooling.
Centre of Excellence:
Develop and communicate technology reference architectures, patterns, standards and best practices throughout the organisation.
Conduct research and participate in the development of roadmaps which include product selection, versions, upgrades, projects and milestones; communicate best practices by giving presentations, working with project teams and authoring content aimed at educating others about standards, strategies and otherwise defined best practices.
Who we are looking for:
Minimum 8 years of experience in related fields including at least 4 years as a Enterprise / Solutions Architect.Education / Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent preferred; formal architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent).Technical Competencies:
Experience of architecting complex solutions - multi-domain, multi-technology, externally sourced.
Experience managing architecture governance processes such as chairing the Architecture Review Board or Enterprise Design Authority.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms to business and IT executive.
Prior experience leading technology innovation through conducting POA- Proof of Architecture and POC- Proof of Concept programs by leveraging emerging technologies.
Possess a strong background in different technologies focusing on business applications with experience of a variety of different approaches, frameworks and coding languages.
Experience of Agile, Iterative and Waterfall delivery lifecycles, including the responsibility of an architect within each.
Previous experience of Software/Solution Development during your career.
Significant experience in several areas of the modern digital ecosystem such as architectural approaches, applications, data/integration and technologies.
Knowledge and experience of implementing cloud-hosted software solutions – SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
Knowledge of architectural tooling such as Sparx EA, Orbus, Mega Hopex or suchlike.
Experience working with integration technologies and a good understanding of design patterns and frameworks.
Strong understanding of solution architecture across complex enterprise systems, with a preference for Salesforce, Oracle, Azure and ServiceNow Platforms along with their integration to other SaaS solutions.
