Kforce has a client that is looking for a DevOps Engineer III local to Salt Lake City, UT. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating our development and deployment processes.Key Responsibilities include:
DevOps Engineer III will manage and maintain Windows/Linux-based systems and ensure optimal performance
Utilize AWS and AWSCLI for cloud infrastructure management
Implement and maintain SaltStack configurations for automated infrastructure provisioning
As a DevOps Engineer III, you will work with Docker to containerize applications for efficient deployment and scalability
Manage and optimize databases, including MS SQL and MongoDB
Implement and manage RabbitMQ for efficient message queuing
Utilize Splunk for log management and analysis
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Information Technology
Five (5) years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or a relevant technical role
Five (5) years of experience working with many of the following technologies or databases: Windows/Linux Administration; AWS & AWS CLI; SaltStack; Docker; MS SQL; MongoDB; RabbitMQ; Splunk
Demonstrated work experience managing complex infrastructure projects with minimal supervision
Strong technical background
Articulate enough to explain ideas/concepts outside the developer wheelhouse simply and effectively
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work well with groups inside and outside of the defined team
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
